Scenario
A family is invited to spend an entire weekend at an isolated house in the countryside, but as the weekend wears on, they realize that the family that invited them has a dark side. The story was inspired by Danish Speak No Evil (2022) director Christian Tafdrup, who befriended a Dutch couple while on vacation in Tuscany with his wife. . Although the Dutch were somewhat socially awkward, the two couples got along very well, and upon returning home, Tafdrup received an invitation from the Dutch family to visit the Netherlands.

He considered it briefly, but decided he felt weird hanging out with people he didn’t really know. His story for the film came when he unleashed his darkest fantasies of what might have happened if he had accepted (maintaining that the original Dutch couple never left a bad vibe). In this remake, the nationalities of the two families are changed to American and British.. In the bathroom, as he washes his eye, in his next scene, he has a subconjunctival hemorrhage in his left eye.

You will hit your head
The movie kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie, it’s not your average horror movie for starters, and the suspense was built really well, keeping me interested all the time. Unfortunately, movie characters do a lot of logical things. But I was actually surprised, and this one surpasses the original in every aspect, both cinematically and actor-wise. McAvoys wonderful portrayal of an emotional psychopath is uncanny and will make you want to hide in your seat.
